What does “idiopathic” mean?

Have you ever thought about what it means to receive a diagnosis or had an illness containing the word "idiopathic"? Idiopathic means not traceable to a direct cause; occurring spontaneously; of unknown cause. To be completely honest, every illness or disease is idiopathic in nature. Although we may tend to blame family history's genetics, genetics simply load the gun. Our actions pull the trigger. Let's think about it like this. A parent has a heart attack and is diagnosed with cardiovascular disease. If our genes (in this case) were the cause of a heart attack, then every sibling in a family would experience a heart attack. So, remember everything you think, eat, do, or don't do effects the outcome of your life.
