Routines, Routines, Routines

Are there times when it feels like you can't possibly keep up on all the things you should do to support your body and improve your wellness? Take every task and break it into bite-size pieces. Then, you won't continue programs that are too difficult, are painful or make your life miserable.

Seriously – just packing snacks and lunches in glass containers instead of plastic and brushing your teeth twice a day helps to keep the doctor away!

Routines can help you stay on track and help take the guesswork out of your day and help support your best health.

Here is my routine (those of you who work different shifts can modify):

  • Wake at a regular time

  • Tongue scrape to remove bacteria buildup in the mouth

  • Brush teeth at least twice, daily

  • Floss daily

  • Exercise daily, even if only for 10 minutes

  • Ritualize supplement intake in AM and PM

  • Avoid food mediators (those that cause signs or symptoms)

  • Listen in to my body and what it needs, and when

  • Eat a rainbow!

  • Get to bed at a regular time
